See our fruit and vegetable garden, learn about sustainable building and energy: fun for kids, interesting for adults.

Feel free to use the tennis court, salt water swimming pool, mountain bikes, pool table, hay barn with swings and games room with table tennis. Enjoy Foxtel movies & sports or borrow from our free DVD collection Go fishing and take the most beautiful rain forest walks at your doorstep.
 

There are hundreds of unique birds, mammals and rare species here, even elusive brumbies and koalas. See the wedge tail eagles, frogs, and platypus in the cool clear waters of the creeks and rivers. Dig your own worms and we'll supply you with a fishing rod. This is a nature lover’s paradise and a special part of Australia, so don't miss it!

The Tops Organic Retreat has 2,000 acres at the World Heritage-listed Barrington Tops. It is one of the most spectacular and ideal places for rare and special birds in New South Wales, over 100 species can be found on the retreat. DID YOU KNOW - Only two places in Australia still have the ancient snow ferns? 'Kosciusko peaks' and 'Barrington Tops peaks.' They have been around for hundreds of millions of years and probably won’t last that long again, so be QUICK and come up to The Tops soon.

We have over 30 kilometres of bushwalking trails to take advantage of the Retreat’s diversity, from rainforest to timbered country, "The Tops" has it all. A wide range of free walking maps are provided to guests with information on the local area.

Horse Riding

Horse Riding can be arranged and costs just $60.00 for a beautiful two-hour ride over the hills and across the rivers.

Tennis Court & Swimming Pool

Take advantage of our full-size flood-lit court.  We supply the racquets and balls!

The salt water swimming pool is waiting after your horse ride, game of tennis or bush walk.

4 Wheel Drive Tours

A guided 2-hour 4WD drive farmstay tour is available for $50 per person (2 person minimum) when weather conditions are favourable and the tracks are completely dry. This cannot be booked or guaranteed, but see John when you arrive to make arrangements.

Have a quiet drink in the afternoon, sit back, relax and watch the wallabies come out to feed.
